About KickQuest

Built by Two People Who Decided Flemington's Kids Deserved Better.

Not a franchise. Not a corporate program. A school built from scratch, from 30 years of experience, by two people who genuinely believe every child has more in them than they're currently showing.

How It Started

We Didn't Open a Martial Arts School. We Built a Place Where Kids Become Who They're Capable of Being.

Jeremy Epstein started training in Brooklyn in 1993. Not because his parents signed him up for something to do. Because it changed him. The discipline, the community, the feeling of earning something real — he never forgot what that did for a kid who needed it.

Jessica started training in Trenton in 1998. She went on to become a three-time ATA World Champion, earn multiple state titles, and get selected for the ATA World Demo Team. She competed at the highest level in the sport. And what she learned at the top was the same thing Jeremy learned at the beginning: martial arts doesn't just build athletes. It builds people.

When they opened KickQuest in Flemington, they weren't trying to run a belt factory. They were trying to build the school they wish had existed for every kid they'd ever known who needed exactly this kind of place.

Twelve years later, 500 students trained, and multiple Hunterdon Happening Best Martial Arts School awards later — they're still doing it. One class at a time.

The People Behind KickQuest

Mr. & Mrs. Epstein

Jeremy Epstein, Owner & Head Instructor at KickQuest

Jeremy Epstein

Owner & Head Instructor

  • 5th Degree Black Belt — Master Instructor, ITF Taekwondo System
  • 5th Degree Black Belt — ATA Songahm Taekwondo
  • 3x ISKA World Demonstration Team Champion — As Seen on ESPN2

Jeremy began his martial arts journey in Brooklyn, New York in 1993 and has spent over 30 years on the mat. He holds the rank of Master Instructor through the ITF Taekwondo System and a 5th Degree Black Belt in ATA Songahm Taekwondo.

As a choreographer and performance director, Jeremy helped lead Team 100% Performance to three consecutive ISKA World Martial Arts titles. The team was featured on ESPN2 and ESPN3. He has performed for international and national audiences and choreographed demonstrations for the XFC Mixed Martial Arts Organization.

He brings that same standard of precision, creativity, and high expectation to every class at KickQuest. He knows every student's name. He knows where they're struggling and where they're ready to be pushed. That is not an accident. It is how he was taught, and it is how he teaches.

Jessica Epstein, Owner & Head Instructor at KickQuest

Jessica Epstein

Owner & Head Instructor

  • 5th Degree Black Belt — ATA Songahm Taekwondo
  • 3x ATA World Champion — Xtreme Martial Arts Forms & Weapons
  • ATA World Demo Team Member (2009)

Jessica began her training in Trenton, New Jersey in 1998 and went on to compete at the highest levels of the sport. She is a three-time ATA World Champion in both Xtreme Martial Arts Forms and Xtreme Martial Arts Weapons, a multiple-time State Champion in Traditional Forms, Weapons, and Sparring, and has held Top-Ten World standing in several categories.

In 2009 she was selected to join the ATA World Demo Team — one of the most competitive and prestigious honors in the sport.

She brings that championship standard into every interaction with every student. Not in a way that intimidates. In a way that makes a child believe they are capable of more than they thought. That's what great coaching does. And that is exactly what she does, every single class.

Our Standards

What You Should Know Before You Bring Your Child Here.

You're not just choosing an activity. You're choosing the people you're leaving your child with. Here is what we believe you deserve to know.

Every instructor is CPR & First Aid certified.

Your child's safety is not an afterthought. Every staff member at KickQuest is trained and certified in CPR and First Aid. We run a clean, supervised environment where parents can drop off their child and not think twice.

A structured, curriculum-based program — not a drop-in class.

Every student moves through a clear progression. There are goals, milestones, and measurable standards. Your child always knows where they are, what they're working toward, and what it takes to get there. Progress here is visible. It means something.

We do not hand out belts.

Every stripe and every belt at KickQuest is earned through demonstrated skill and character. Not attendance. Not time. Not because a parent paid for the next level. When your child receives a belt here, they know they deserved it. That feeling is the whole point.

Character development is built into every class — not added on.

Mat Chat happens at the beginning of every class. Five minutes where the value of the day gets discussed, connected to real life, and practiced on the mat. Respect, integrity, perseverance, courage. These are not posters on a wall. They are the actual lesson, every time.

We communicate with parents. Consistently.

You will know what your child is working on. You will know when they are ready to advance. You will not be guessing. We believe the parents who stay informed are the ones whose kids grow the fastest — because the values get reinforced at home too.

12 years in Flemington. Not a franchise.

We are not a new concept. We built this school from the ground up in this community, with these families. The 500+ students we have trained are neighbors, schoolmates, and kids who grew up together on this mat. That history matters — and it means we are not going anywhere.

Recognized by the Community

Flemington's Most Trusted Martial Arts School.

KickQuest has been named Best Martial Arts School by Hunterdon Happening multiple years in a row. That award is not self-nominated. It is voted on by the community — the same parents and families who bring their children here week after week.

A 4.9-star rating on Google across hundreds of reviews tells the same story.

We do not lead with this because we think it closes the sale. We mention it because we think you deserve to know that the families around you have already made this decision — and have not regretted it.

What We Believe

We Build Kids. From the Inside Out.

Most programs keep children busy. We build them.

01

The mat is a classroom.

Every kick, every stripe, every hard round of sparring teaches something that transfers to the rest of your child's life. Focus. Discipline. Resilience. The ability to do hard things and come back the next day and do them again.

02

Results are greater than promises.

We do not tell you what this program will do for your child. We show you. Through their behavior. Through their grades. Through the way they carry themselves at home and at school and in their own skin.

03

Every student walks in seen.

Not as a number. Not as a tuition. As a kid we are invested in. A smile is worth a thousand words. Every child who walks through that door matters to us by name.

That is what KickQuest is. That is what it has always been.
